Meeting with UISG Constellation 7. (Spain and Portugal)

From May 24 to 26, 2024, the Assembly of Superiors General belonging to Constellation 7 of the UISG (International Union of Superiors General) was held in Fatima, Portugal. Seventy-two Superior Generals residing in Spain and Portugal were present. The theme of the Assembly was "Taking care of ourselves to take care of others." Sr. Simona Brambilla, secretary of the Dicastery, led the assembly sesions on the afternoon of the 24th and the morning of the 25th, through plenary sesions, time for reflection and personal prayer and Conversation in the Spirit, in groups.

The proximity to the Shrine of Fatima allowed the participants to enjoy the atmosphere of peace and welcome that reigns in this sacred place, and to participate in some meaningful moments of prayer at the Little Chapel of the Apparition. May the Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church and Mother of consecrated men and women, guard and accompany the journey of these Sisters called to the service of authority and their Congregations and Institutes.
