Christmas Greetings from Card. João Braz de Aviz, Prefect of the Dicastery
Video transcript
From our Dicastery of Consecrated Life here in Rome, in the Vatican, we would like to send this little Christmas greeting of ours to all of you, consecrated men and women worldwide. I think that this feast, this solemnity of the Incarnation of the Word who became one of us, to walk with us, truly brings us to the experience of consolation. This year in a special way we live before this mystery with wonder, before the mystery of God for us and before this difficulty of wars, of the enormous incapacities of human coexistence, and we always want to say this word that now orients us towards the Jubilee of the year 2025: it is hope. The Christian heart, our heart of disciples of Jesus does not stop before all the difficulties, it puts itself in the middle, it takes on these difficulties together with other men and women and remains in the consolation of the mystery.
A special greeting to all of you and may we with our hearts as consecrated persons emphasize this light first of all for us, for our communities and also for all humanity. Best wishes and a Holy Christmas to you all.
