101st USG Assembly

On May 22, 2024, Sr. Simona Brambilla, MC, Secretary, and Fr. Aitor Jiménez, CMF, Undersecretary, went to Assisi for a time of dialogue with the participants of the 101st USG (Union of Superiors General) Assembly.  The theme of the Assembly, which takes place May 21-24, is “Faithful to the Legacy of the Second Vatican Council.”  Participants were able to ask questions on various issues and, in a truly fraternal atmosphere, the importance of continuing to chart together paths of dialogue, sharing and effective collaboration between the USG and the Dicastery, in favor of Consecrated Life, was emphasized. We entrust the remaining path of the Assembly to the protection of St. Francis of Assisi. May he intercede for all of us consecrated men and women, so that we may become more and more instruments of Peace.
