Sequela Christi

Periodica Congregationis pro Institutis Vitae Consecratae et Societatibus Vitae Apostolicae

Since 2005, the Dicastery’s Periodical Informationes SCRIS has taken on the name of Sequela Christi. Now in its 35th year of publication; in choosing its topics it makes reference to Consecrated Life in the Church.

The reason for the change is the following:

"By transforming its traditional Information Bulletin into a Magazine, the Dicastery wishes to offer its readership an instrument of study and information on themes concerning Consecrated Life in its various forms in the Church" (Editorial in Sequela Christi 2005/01).

In particular, it presents:

- the Holy Father's Magisterium on Consecrated Life, also highlighting the many references to it;

- the Dicastery's most significant Activities, Documents and Interventions;

- the study of theological, juridical and pastoral themes of interest to Consecrated Life, in the form of monographs, with exempla on the life of Monastic Orders, Religious and Secular Institutes, etc.
