On Monday, 3 March 2025, the Dicastery welcomed a delegation from Catholic Religious Australia (CRA), led by its President, Fr Gerard Brady, CFC, accompanied by the Vice-President, Sr Philippa Murphy, FDNSC, and the Executive Director, Mrs Anne Walker.
The CRA representatives were received by the Prefect, Sr Simona Brambilla, M.C., the Pro-Prefect, Ángel F. Card. Artime, S.D.B., and the Under-Secretary, Sr Carmen Ros, N.S.C., together with the heads of section of the Dicastery: Fr Leonello Leidi, C.P., Dr Daniela Leggio, and Sr Annunziata Remossi, O.M.V.F.
During the meeting, various matters concerning consecrated life in Australia were discussed, including current challenges and future prospects. Considerable time was devoted to strengthening communion with the Australian Catholic Bishops’ Conference and with the Conferences of Major Superiors of Oceania, with a view to consolidating bonds of collaboration and synodality.
