Appointment of New Members of the Dicastery

The Holy Father Leo XIV today appointed an additional 19 Members of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.

The names published in the Bulletin of the Holy See Press Office, are added to the current Members in office.

The Members of the Dicastery are Cardinals, Bishops and the Supreme Moderators of male and female Institutes of Consecrated Life who come from different parts of the world.  Their composition reflects the universal character of the Church and expresses the charismatic richness of consecrated life. They are called to assist the Dicastery in discerning, in a synodal manner, the main challenges of Consecrated Life and in outlining paths that respond to the needs of the Church and the world. Their contribution of study and reflection accompanies the work of the Superiors, Office heads and Officials who serve daily in the Dicastery.

We extend our congratulations and best wishes to the new Members for this assignment at the service of consecrated life and the universal Church.
