Habemus Papam, Leo XIV

Robert Francis Prevost was elected, he chose the name Leo XIV.

On the day of his election, the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, renewing its commitment to the service of the Church and the Pontiff, expresses its gratitude to the Lord for the gift of Pope Leo assuring constant prayer for the apostolic mission entrusted to him.

May Mary, Mother of the Church, intercede for our Pope, guide him and keep him in the love of Christ.
