On May 17 and 18, 2025, the elective assembly of the Italian Conference of Secular Institutes was held, in which Dr. Daniela Leggio and Dr. Rosalba Rossi, respectively Office Head and Officer of our Dicastery, also participated.

In the end-of-term report, a three-year journey was presented, aimed at exploring the challenges that the current situation presents to those who live their consecration in the world. Some points regarding Secular Institutes, which emerged during the ad limina visit were recalled, in particular: “The recognition of Secular Consecration as a vocation closely connected to the needs of the world — a vocation of people who give themselves within the folds of history.”

On the afternoon of May 17, Laura Floris of the Secular Institute of St. Catherine of Genoa was elected president, along with the new National Council.
