On 6 August 2026, the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV appointed the new Consultors of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life for the five-year term 2026–2031.
Their names are published in the Bulletin of the Holy See Press Office.
The Dicastery’s Consultors come from different parts of the world and are experts in theology, canon law, and consecrated life. The diversity of their backgrounds, expertise, and ecclesial experience reflects the charismatic richness of consecrated life and the universal nature of the Church.
They are called to offer their contribution to the Dicastery by placing their expertise and experience at its service, accompanying, in a spirit of discernment and ecclesial communion, reflection on the principal challenges facing consecrated life and helping to foster ever more appropriate responses to the needs of the Church and the world.
We extend a warm welcome to the new Consultors and offer them our best wishes as they undertake this responsibility, entrusted to them in the service of consecrated life and the communion of the universal Church.
